Why use an ePortfolio?

ePortfolios are an authentic way to show others who you are and what you do, believe in, and stand for. Using the COVA model to build the ePortfolio has allowed me to showcase myself in a way that is relevant to what I am doing right now in my career. I am an educator, a learner, and a leader, and creating this eP has shown me that I can be all of these things at the same time without feeling foolish or fake. Writing down thoughts my thoughts about what I am learning and doing has given me clarification on things, and if others read my posts and it causes them to think deeply about the issue, then it is a welcome bonus.
