Bitmoji Classrooms

I have a new obsession. Bitmoji classrooms are a fun, cute way to engage with students of all ages. Have you tried it yet? Here are a few that I have created.

How do you use them? That's a great question. I am planning on using them each week in canvas as a more fun way to share information. Have you ever made a hyperlinked document? You can take that same idea, and hyperlink objects. You can use it in lots of different ways. In my first one, I am planning on linking different scenes and monologues to drawers. In my second example, I am planning on using the days of the week banners to link to what we will be doing in class each day. In my third example, I will have links in the shelf to tutorials that students can use to help with different tools that we will use like Flipgrid, MS teams, and Google Drive.

How do you make them? Well, I looked at several different tutorials and thought I'd share this one with you. There are several Facebook groups dedicated to helping each other and I have found a lot of encouragement in them. Let me know if you want names of the groups and I will share them with you.

I created a virtual classroom to introduce myself to my class this year. I am planning on using it at the beginning of the school year in Face-to-face instruction and for my distance learners. In order to keep the links active here, I have to upload it as a .pdf document. Feel free to browse through and see how I used it.
